Man of the match: Mesut OzilCaptaining Arsenal from the start for the first time in the Premier League, Ozil delivered a masterful display. He made a cool side-footed finish for the first goal look easy, before playing a key part in the second and third goals. This was one of his best performances in an Arsenal shirt for a while.

Arsenal looks to pick up where it left off prior to the international break when it hosts Leicester City at the Emirates on Monday.

Arsenal are set to start their 2018-19 premier league campaign with the opening match against champions Manchester City on Sunday, 12 August 2018 at Emirates. Arsenal will play another two games in August against Chelsea (18th August) and West Ham (25 August) followed by Cardiff City game on 02 September 2018. Arsenal’s Europa League campaign begins midway through September.
