Former Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Tuesday, on a private plane, after leaving Paraguay one day after his release.
Earlier today, outside Ronaldinho’s residence, in the center of the Paraguayan capital, Asunción, dozens of fans gathered around the ex-star’s luxury car shouting “Ronaldinho we love you” and “Ronaldinho don't leave”, before moving to the airport.
On Monday, Judge Gustavo Amaria ordered the release of Ronaldinho, 40 years, and his brother, Roberto, after more than 5 months of detention in Paraguay for entering the country with false passports.
The judge said: "Ronaldinho is free to travel to any country in the world, but he must notify in case he changes his permanent residence status."
He added, "From now on, Ronaldinho's freedom is not subject to any restrictions except for the payment of social damages," and he asked the Brazilian star to pay a fine of $ 90,000 in this regard.
Ronaldinho is one of the most prominent players in the history of the round witch, and he has won almost all the titles available to him from the 2002 World Cup, Copa America, Confederations Cup, European Champions League, Spanish and Italian League, and the Golden Ball.
