Silent killer threatens the lives of 21 million people in Britain

The British Energy Trade Union (BREA) has announced that nearly 21 million people are living with the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning (CO) in Britain.

The British Union explains the lack of CO alarms in the homes of millions of people, as carbon monoxide can not be seen or smelled.
The Union confirmed that 94% of the 21 million Britons, aware of the magnitude of the threat to them, but they do not have alarms against the gas malignant.
The Union published the findings after a lengthy study conducted by the end of last year, which proved that the advent of winter increases cases of poisoning people with carbon monoxide, as a result of the use of household heating and not many of them used for detection of gas (CO).

The importance of the campaign is to avoid deaths and injuries caused by gas poisoning, estimated at 4000 incidents each year, resulting in the deaths of 30 people.Following the latest study, the union launched a new campaign in Britain called "Be Careful!" Urging all UK residents to purchase CO gas detectors, which cost only US $ 18.
