The number of injuries reached one million and more than 252 thousand, followed by Spain in the second place in more than 253 thousand, then Italy with more than 214 thousand, then France in Britain and Germany.

The number of newly infected corona virus around the world exceeded the barrier of three million and 800 thousand, according to the site "World Meter", while the United States recorded the death of more than two thousand people due to the virus within 24 hours.

With this, the death toll in this country has exceeded 73,000, according to data from Johns Hopkins University, meaning that it is the country most affected by the epidemic in the world.

US President Donald Trump has described the Corona epidemic as the worst attack on the United States, continuing to accuse China of failing to fight the virus in its infancy.

Worst assault
Trump said during a meeting at the White House on the occasion of World Nurse Day Wednesday, "We have witnessed the worst attack on our country. It is worse than (the attack on) Pearl Harbor and the World Trade Center. We have never been subjected to a similar attack, but we should not have It could have been stopped at its place of origin ... in China. It had to be stopped at its main source, but that didn't happen. "

At the same time, the US President stressed his retreat from the intention to solve the crisis cell charged with containing the Corona epidemic at the federal level, and said that he would add two new members to it, working on measures to reopen the country's economy.

Tensions remain high between Washington and Beijing on the back of renewed US accusations to China of hiding information about the epidemic and the circumstances that arose in the Chinese city of Wuhan late last year.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told a news conference Wednesday that China could have saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world if it had been more transparent about the emerging corona virus.

"China could have prevented the world from falling into a global economic stalemate. It had the choice, but instead, China hidden itself from the outbreak in Wuhan."

Pompeo accused the Chinese authorities of continuing to hide information about the virus 128 days after the pandemic.

In a move that could irritate China, the US Secretary of State called on all countries - including European countries - to agree to Taiwan's entry into the World Health Organization as an observer member.

Pompeo urged the world body to open an investigation into China's treatment of the Corona virus.

On the other hand, the decisions to reduce the global stone imposed to fight the epidemic of Corona in the east and west have continued. During the last hours, Germany, Denmark, Turkey, Bahrain and Jordan announced decisions to ease strict quarantine measures and gradually regulate the return to commercial and social activities.

"The latest figures on the development of the epidemic are very satisfactory," German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a press conference after meeting with the 16th German state officials on Wednesday.

She added, "This means that we have reached a point where we can say that we have achieved the goal of slowing the spread of the virus."

Accordingly, the German government decided to lift the majority of restrictions imposed since the middle of last March to limit the spread of the epidemic, but that does not include opening borders and organizing major sporting and cultural activities with the participation of the public.

The agreement between the federal government and the states provides for the reopening of all stores as of next week, including supermarkets with an area of more than eight hundred square meters, and all schools.

As for restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels, the agreement leaves room for state governments to decide whether to resume work, and several states, such as Bavaria, have already allowed this.

On the sports front, the German authorities allowed the resumption of the Football League in mid-May after it stopped in mid-March.

Easing restrictions
in Denmark, Prime Minister Matte Friedrichsen said the government hopes to allow retailers, restaurants and cafes to open in the second phase of a strategy to return to normalcy in the country.

The government is currently in talks with political parties about the country's plans to ease restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the new Corona virus, and has said it will present a plan in this regard before May 10.

In Turkey, Minister of Health Fakhruddin Kuja said today that his country has entered a new stage in its battle with the virus during which it aims to eradicate the disease and resume work and to set new guidelines for social behavior to prevent any new spread.

He added in a press conference that the government will publish directives to companies to ensure that the virus continues to be contained when it resumes work next week.

He pointed out that citizens should wear protective masks and take into account the social separation in public places.
