Bill Gates' yacht powered by liquid hydrogen, coast more than $ 600 million ..

The British Sunday Telegraph newspaper reported that Bill Gates, the founding partner of Microsoft, became the first to buy a huge hydrogen yacht, worth $ 645 million, and according to the newspaper, the yacht is expected to be ready for use in 2024, the latest sign of Gates' interest in alternative fuels.

According to the newspaper, the yacht will be manufactured by the Dutch company, Fedsheb, which specializes in manufacturing premium yachts.
The yacht measures 112 meters in length, and its design was published last year at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The giant yacht was developed to operate entirely with liquid hydrogen power, so that it converts liquefied hydrogen - stored at -253°C in two insulated tanks with a capacity of 28 tons - into electrical energy via proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells and is used to provide energy for propulsion, as well as Additional system and hotel services.
Batteries store the generated electricity to ensure that energy requirements are always met. The result is a near-noise sailing with a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 10-12 knots.
"Our challenge was to operate at full capacity in liquid hydrogen cells and fuel in a true superyacht that is a pioneer not only in technology, but also in design and aesthetics," said the yacht designer.

Gates, who co-founded Microsoft, is currently ranked the second richest man in the world, and he is a regular practitioner of driving luxury yachts during his vacations, but he has never owned his own yacht and was content to rent yachts during his summer trips around the Mediterranean.

Nor will the Gates' new yacht live up to the luxury of the world's largest pleasure yacht, such as the 163-meter "Eclipse" owned by wealthy Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea Football Club.
Nevertheless, the newspaper says, Gates will overtake other rich people as the world's first hydrogen-powered yacht owner.
In fact, the new yacht does not lack in distinction when it comes to aesthetics either. Outside, curved lines flow across a five-story suite designed to bring guests as close as possible to the water, and the aft deck has a water-covered staircase enabling you to relax toward the ocean, while the expansive pool blends in with the ocean.
Meanwhile, spacious interior space accommodates 14 guests and 31 crew members, with a luxurious 50-foot VIP suite occupying the front half of the upper deck.
Features of the yacht include a unique 360-degree observatory where guests can enjoy the sea views, and an indoor wellness center with hydromassage room, yoga space and exercise room.
