A video clip, which was broadcast by local media and social media, showed the moment of the beating and kicking of a pregnant woman and her young child by a group of people in the state of Illinois.
In the video clip, two women assaulted a pregnant woman and assaulted her near her Brooklyn house, landed and tried to drag her from her hair, as well as assaulting the young child as another unknown young man ran toward him, kicked him, jumped on him, and kicked his head, as he kicked the pregnant woman's head.
The police pursued and arrested the accused without revealing the identity of the attackers or even the cause of the dispute and the attack.
Police said they were investigating the incident and would refer the case to the St. Clair County Public Prosecutor's Office.
