Jacob Blake, in the footsteps of George Floyd ... anger and protests after police shot a black American

The American ABC channel confirmed that Jacob Blake, an African-American citizen, was paralyzed after being shot by police two days ago in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Thousands of protesters defied the night curfew imposed by the authorities after the accident, and marched interspersed with arson, riots and clashes with the police.

The demonstrators chanted "No justice, no peace" during a gathering in front of the court, expressing their outrage.

A widely circulated mobile phone video showed Blake, followed by two police officers, spreading their guns, as he circled a car.

Then a policeman grabs him by the tip of his shirt as he opens the door and tries to sit in the driver’s seat, then the policeman shoots and hits Blake several times in the back, and in the recording a sound of 7 shots is heard, and the two policemen were suspended from service and an investigation was opened into the incident.

Biden comments

For his part, the Democratic presidential candidate for the presidential elections, Joe Biden, called for "an immediate, comprehensive, and transparent investigation, and for the policemen to be held accountable for their actions."
Biden said in his message, which was accompanied by the word "stop" against a black background, "The country is awakening again, full of pain and anger, because a black American has fallen again into the victim of police abuse."
For its part, Kenosha Police called for not drawing hasty conclusions "until the facts are fully known."
Anger reached other American cities in Minneapolis - where George Floyd was killed - demonstrators burned the American flag, and in New York about 200 people demonstrated and some raised their fist signs, shouting the name Jacob Blake.
